Palmer Digital Group, a digital signage firm, has partnered with Buona for outdoor menu boards at various Chicago-area locations, starting with two dual-concept QSR locations shared with Rainbow Cone, according to a press release.
The effort includes installations of Palmer’s QSRDSMB346-CANOPY systems, which feature weatherproofing and 46-inch Samsung displays.
The partnership includes two triple-canopy systems for Buona’s Valparaiso and Bolingbrook locations, with the latter also featuring single preview panel boards. The partnership also includes licensing for Spectrio PingHD software.
“Palmer Digital Group provides a solution that talks to our point-of-sale system, which makes it easy for us to change menu layouts, link items and adjustment prices,” said Kearins. “New content can be on the screen within minutes and at no tangible expense. There is no more scrambling to create content, and no chance of an expensive mistake such as a static board misprint that costs about $1500 per location.”
