Vidby, a Swiss AI startup with Ukrainian roots that specializes in AI-powered translation and dubbing solutions for 75 languages, has announced its rollout of content localization features, according to a press release.
The release includes tools for crowdfunding, partial localization and bill splitting and is aimed at making it easier and more cost-effective for YouTube influencers to localize their content via AI-powered translation.
The crowdfunding tool allows funds to be collected from fans who can choose their desired target language and voice; funds are directly deposited into a Vidby account balance devoted to localization efforts and cannot be accessed for other purposes than those earmarked during the crowdfunding donation process.
Partial localization tools allow specific parts of videos, rather than the entire video, to be selected for localization processing to save money.
Bill splitting allows co-creators to split the cost of localizing content to international audiences.
Vidby is listed as a Google Cloud trusted partner and was named as a YouTube recommended vendor in May 2023.
