LG has announced its partnership with Double Black Imaging in a long-term licensing agreement that creates solution bundles for medical imaging, including LG LCD monitors on the hardware side and DBI’s CFS Calibration Software Suite on the software side, according to a press release.
Solution bundle features include resolutions ranging from two-12 megapixels, with applications spanning categories including teleradiology, diagnostic imaging, mammography/tomography, cardiology and pathology. The LG monitors include built-in front and back sensors for automatic DICOM and color calibration technology, ultra-thin bezels, flicker-safe technology, ambient lighting and brightness stabilization; monitor sizes include 21-, 27- and 31-inch displays. The CFS Calibration Software Suite includes features for automated gray level and color calibration, conformance testing, report generation and non-conformance web alerts.
