PPDS, the global distributor of Philips Professional Display Solutions, has opened its PPDS Studio in New Delhi, India, as part of Philips’ strategy for expansion in the subcontinent, according to a press release.
Located in the Capital Region, Gurugram, in New Delhi, this is the first PPDS Studio launched in India, part of a global chain of similar installations, including locations in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, North America, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Demonstrations and exhibits are planned to include current and emerging product lines and solutions, such as D-Line and Q-Line digital signage, X-line video walls, interactive displays from the T-Line and D-Line, direct view LED displays from the L-Line, Philips MediaSuite professional displays with built-in Chromecast and the Tableaux Advanced Color ePaper (ACeP) family.
“We are extremely proud to have opened India’s first PPDS Studio,” Atul Jasra, head of India Business at PPDS, said in the release. “The Studio is a hub for all that we do, gathering the latest advancements from PPDS and selected third party partners under one roof, and offering industry-specific solutions that elevate productivity and enrich visual experiences.
“This is not a showroom; it is an experience center where partners and customers can come together and bring their ambitions to life ahead of installation. The Indian market is growing and we, at PPDS, are perfectly positioned to seize new opportunities and bring true change to the schools and businesses in this region. Our PPDS Studio will play a crucial role in achieving our ambitions, an exciting stage in our Make in India journey.”
