Maryland-based Bullock’s Deli has unveiled its digital transformation efforts, including Watchfire digital signage, with owners crediting increased sales and foot traffic to the work, according to a case study shared exclusively with Digital Signage Today.
Founded in 1976, Bullock’s Deli is located off the Maryland 404 and offers food and drink (including a popular line of hot fudge sundaes) along with an array of community-focused services, including the Maryland Lottery, hunting and fishing licenses, boat ramp stickers and Sunoco gas.
The digital transformation project was executed in partnership with Phillip Signs (based in Seaford, Delaware) and included refreshing the digital cabinet and digital message center with a higher-resolution display. The previously-installed sign, also from Watchfire, had been installed by Phillip Signs as well. The new 10mm display measures 4’5″ by 7’3″ and reaches an estimated 3.5 million impressions annually.
Content includes daily specials, service promotion, highlighting available stock and sharing community news and information.
“Not only does our new sign look great on the property, but we know that it works in getting the attention of potential customers,” Michele Bullock, co-owner at Bullock’s Deli, said in the case study, crediting increased foot traffic and sales to the enhancements. “Business owners considering installing a digital sign should just do it. The initial investment is higher compared to other sign options, but the benefits are well worth it.”
