GZA GeoEnvironmental, a Norwood, Massachusetts-based geotechnical and environmental engineering firm, has partnered with Airtame for hybrid meeting technology, according to a press release.
GZA, which holds 32 offices across the U.S. for more than 650 employees, has adopted the Airtame video conferencing and screenshare SaaS solution as part of the deal, with technology deployed to 22 meeting rooms and a total of 39 meeting rooms planned for the distribution.
“When we began returning to our offices following a brief period of COVID-related remote work, the nature of how we conduct daily communications had changed, but our offices had not,” Paul Malagrifa, CIO at GZA GeoEnvironmental said in the release. “We had already moved beyond relying on in-room PCs for on-site meetings using the original Airtame solution, but we couldn’t find an equally simple solution for hybrid meetings. We wanted to enable BYOD hybrid meetings and eliminate the logins and other challenges presented when switching between Zoom, Meets, Teams or GoToMeeting, and the first product we tried was an unqualified failure. Then the Airtame 2 and Airtame Hub became available, and we haven’t looked back since.”
