In an update to its ongoing efforts to put sustainability at the core of its business strategy, Broadsign has released an update on its carbon-neutral and sustainability initiatives, according to a press release and blog post.

Partnering with climate solutions firm Klimate.co, Broadsign is targeting two core areas of emissions reduction: business travel and purchased goods/services (including SaaS and cloud computing).
Strategies include offsetting portfolio investment, investment in projects with additional social benefit, and offering support to the development of new technologies designed to ameliorate the climate crisis. Investments include:
Reforestation
A traditional carbon sequestration strategy supported by specialized monitoring via satellite imaging and software (project certification information at Plan Vivo).
Emissions offset: 963.90 tCO2e (87.6%).
Biochar
An emerging technology that uses pyrolysis to sequester carbon in the ground (project certification information at EBC C-Sink).
Emissions offset: 110.10 tCO2e (10%).
Enhanced weathering
The acceleration of natural carbon sequestration processes (project certification information at Puro.earth ERW).
Emissions offset: 27 tCO2e (2.5%).
