PPDS, the global distributor of Philips Professional Displays, has announced its partnership with FC Barcelona to help vulnerable children, along with PPDS being chosen as official supplier of LED and digital signage displays at Spotify Camp Nou stadium, according to a press release.
“Based on a new holistic programmatic approach, the FC Barça Foundation works in three main areas: education and protection, community action, and health and emotional wellbeing through its own programs and methodologies,” Marta Segu, executive director of the FC Barcelona Foundation, said in the release. “In all our programs we use sport as an important tool to promote social inclusion, and we have a special focus on gender equality and diversity in all forms. We believe that partnerships with organizations like TPV Cares are key to our programs and campaigns – helping us to change the world through sport. Together we can help to make sure no child is left offside.”
As part of the announcement, TPV (the parent of PPDS, AOC, MMD-Monitors and Displays, and TP Vision) has partnered with the FC Barcelona Foundation (also known as Barça Foundation) with a goal of raising funds for health, wellbeing, and education of vulnerable and disadvantaged children globally.
The deal is facilitated by TPV Cares, a division that oversees the social and environmental impact initiatives of TPV and subsidiaries.
In 2022-2023, the Barça Foundation raised in excess of $15.458 million dollars.
The deal expands the relationship between the sports club and TP Vision, which was announced as its Main Partner for the 2023-2024 season.
