PPDS, the global distributor of Philips Professional Displays, has announced its entrance into the outdoor display market with the launch of its Philips Urban LED 6000 Series, along with its status as official partner of the Spain-based FC Barcelona football team’s Spotify Camp Nou stadium, according to a press release.

PPDS will be the exclusive LED and digital signage supplier for the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, including two concourse rings and three video scoreboards, as part of stadium renovations scheduled to be completed by 2026.
“This is an historic day for PPDS,” Martijn van der Woude, VP Global Marketing and Business Development, said in the release. “Not only are we announcing a major expansion of the business in entering the outdoor display market with the stunning new Philips Urban LED 6000 Series, [but] we are also confirming our partnership as the official supplier of LED and digital signage displays for one of the world’s most successful football clubs, supporting the redevelopment of one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.
