Samsung displays will serve Super Bowl fans at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas after the venue has installed more than 2500 Samsung Displays, according to a press release.
The three-year-old home of the Las Vegas Raiders has installed more than 66,000 square feet of Samsung LED panels in a partnership that includes three end zone video boards along with score clocks and ribbon boards.
The project also included the installation of a 27,600 square-foot Samsung outdoor LED mesh display.
“The larger-than-life Samsung Outdoor LED mesh display and the thousands of indoor video screens create the ultimate fan experience for Raider Nation at Allegiant Stadium,” said David Phelps, head of the display division, Samsung Electronics America. “When the Big Game comes to Las Vegas, Allegiant Stadium will be ready to wow football fans with an amazing line-up of Samsung’s show-stopping visual technology that exceeds expectations – even in the entertainment capital of the world.”
Last May, Samsung executives joined editor Daniel Brown via video link for an in-depth discussion of the rise of sports stadium digital signage and the logistics behind large installations. A video of the conversation is available below.
