Palmer Digital, an integrator specializing in kiosks, display enclosures and drive thru digital menu boards, has expanded its partnership with Rainbow Cone for digital signage at additional locations in Illinois and Florida, according to a press release.
The first installation is currently under development in Flossmoor, Illinois, with the location set to open in March.
The partnership includes installation of Palmer Digital QSRDMB246 double outdoor digital menu boards painted in the Rainbow Cone custom colors, with each board featuring two 46-inch screens for dynamic content, along with IP56-rated structures for screen protection.
“Rainbow Cone has used a variety of pink colors over the years to represent their brand,” Chuck Lewis, VP, Palmer Digital Group, said in the release. “The PDG team performed a color study, which began by visiting several stores to match the most common pink to a Pantone color. We found slight variations in pinks between some stores, and we established an ideal medium to use for all upcoming menu board designs. We then had powder matched to this color, which we used to paint their drive thru digital menu boards.
“It’s a more expensive powder and therefore is not often used for menu boards, but using this powder ensures a lifespan of at least 10 years with no rust buildup,” Lewis said in the release.
