Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, a traveling exhibit produced by Paquin Entertainment Group that fuses art with immersive, virtual reality and experiential elements on a digital canvas, has announced it will appear in Quad Cities this spring, according to a press release.
With a May 20, 2023 premiere set for the RiverCenter in Davenport, Iowa, the show has sold over 5 million tickets globally to date; the exhibit’s paintings include “The Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” “Café Terrace at Night” and self portraits by Van Gogh, which are mixed with music and words from the artist as part of the experience.
“This distinctive and unique multimedia artistic adventure is deeply resonating with audiences,” Justin Paquin, producer at Paquin Entertainment Group, said in the release. “Encompassing a refreshing new twist unlike art lovers have seen before, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience gives a new appreciation of this tortured artist’s stunning work. Unsurprisingly millions of people all over the world credit Van Gogh with enhancing their relationship with art. [The exhibit] will only strengthen that connection.”
