Cabal Esports, an entertainment production company based in Spain, has acquired 126 LED panels from Alfalite for constructing a video wall at its studio in Alcobendas (a municipality in Madrid) to facilitate virtual production related to its work in television broadcasting, live events, gaming and eSports, according to a press release.
The LED panels are from the Alfalite Litepix VP XR 1.9 line and come equipped with Alfalite’s proprietary Optical Resin Injection Module technology (ORIM), a panel termination technology aiming to improve precision between modules and extended viewing angles while protecting screens from various environmental hazards.
The 1.9mm pixel pitch video wall is assembled in various configurations depending on the product underway at a given time, of which examples include streaming Los Panas by Santalucía, Gaming Live events by Ubisoft, CTK (Atresmedia) Gaming tournaments and PlayStation Channel’s Twitch sets.
“We chose Alfalite Litepix ORIM VP XR for its image quality in camera and the confidence that gives us its reliability in live events, beyond its ease of assembly and disassembly of the sets and accuracy between panels,” Juan José Boronat, CEO at Cabal Esports, said in the release. “In addition, with ORIM we can rest assured if the screen is hit or splashed with liquids. We are very pleased to have Alfalite as our technology partner.”
