Rise Vision, a digital signage firm with a specialization in education use cases, has partnered with CrisisGo to promote school safety via a three-part webinar series called “Crisis Management and School Security,” aiming to address a lack of crisis management training, according to a press release.
Focused on supporting school superintendents, principals and technology directors, the series addressed emergency response practices and was led by Kelly Moore, senior school safety specialist at CrisisGo, who leveraged decades of law enforcement and school safety experience to discuss the topics.
“We are thrilled to have successfully concluded this three-part webinar series in collaboration with CrisisGo,” Shea Darlison, chief revenue officer at Rise Vision, said in the release. “Rise Vision is dedicated to helping schools create safe environments for students. We are proud to work with experts in school safety like CrisisGo and equip school leaders with the knowledge and tools to take proactive steps towards a safer future.”
- Part 1: “Developing a comprehensive emergency response plan,” focusing on response plan essentials like risk assessment, communication protocols, evacuation procedures and recovery strategies.
- Part 2: “Improving communication during a crisis,” discussed communication strategies and technologies.
- Part 3: “Security measures to prevent unauthorized access to school grounds,” covered security risk assessment and physical security measures.
For those interested in promoting school safety, Kelly Moore also hosts a school safety podcast called “Coffee with Kelly: A discussion on school safety,” published by CrisisGo.
