Evergreen Lanes has launched in Caribou, Maine, fusing the resurrection of a popular local food and entertainment venue with what is believed currently to be the state’s largest LED screen, according to a press release.

The location includes bar, restaurant, and bowling amenities along with a bowling pro shop, arcade, private meeting and event space and outdoor patio space.
Owner Shawn Pelletier installed an eight-by-15-foot high-resolution Watchfire LED display inside the building. An outdoor Watchfire LED sign was installed to advertise events, specials and other content, along with installation of refurbished outdoor signage from Rendezvous Restaurant, a defunct local favorite that once served a local air force base and inspired the current project thanks to Pelletier’s memories of enjoying the original venue while growing up.
“We want this to be a destination, something unique for the area that will draw in people, the same way that we might go to Bangor or Portland to visit certain places,” Pelletier said in the release.

The main indoor digital display is complemented by several dozen traditional TVs.
The project was executed in partnership with digital signage firm Watchfire and integration specialist Condon Sign & Electrical Service in the project. Digital signage elements were coordinated by Tom Perreault, owner at Perreault Technology Services, who also selected Watchfire OPx as the CMS software for the venue.
“I’m amazed at how well made and durable the Watchfire signs are,” Perreault said in the release. “Watchfire’s team has been great, from sales to tech support to help in configuring the signs.”
