Plan E, a Germany-based public initiative to reduce e-waste and promote environmental safety, has enlisted the aid of Berlin magicians Siegfried & Joy to promote an e-waste disposal campaign, according to a press release.
Plan E: Dispose of e-waste easily and correctly” (Plan E: E-Schrott einfach & richtig entsorgen) is a public initiative to raise awareness about the hazards of e-waste for the environment along with the best and easiest methods of correct disposal, illustrated colorfully in a playful ad campaign across channels including television, social media and DOOH.

Citizens can visit the non-profit website e-schrott-entsorgen.org to find information and guides for disposing of various types of home appliances and e-waste.
The initiative is supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection along with Germany’s Federal Environmental Agency, in partnership with Berlin-based media firm canvas&frame along with production assistance from Hamburg-based agency Of Like Mind.
