Hughes Network Systems, LLC, an EchoStar company, has partnered with Netskope, a firm specializing in Security Access Service Edge technology, to develop software together, according to a press release.
The partnership aims to develop a SASE solution for small to medium Hughes customers based in the U.S., Canada and Mexico which combines Hughes managed services capabilities with Netskope’s Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities in one solution providing the high-security of large enterprises for an affordable price.
“Many organizations today struggle with managing the large number of tools necessary to safeguard sensitive data,” Craig Robinsonm, research VP, security services, IDC, said in the release. “A solution like Hughes Managed SASE helps address that challenge, binding together the capabilities that protect data and applications regardless of where they are being used, along with the scalability, intelligent routing, and cost optimization of SD-WAN. A managed SASE offering brings additional peace of mind with a managed or co-management option for those organizations that want to utilize these options.”
