The Lake Cumberland Tourist Commission is launching digital, touch-interactive wayfinding kiosks, according to a report from lakercountry.com.
Danielle Wilson, tourism director for Lake Cumberland Tourist Commission, spoke on the project to the fiscal court.
“We’ve decided to put one in downstairs… at the Clerk’s Office, in the hallway,” Wilson said in the report. “We’re doing one at the state park, we’re doing one at the airport, and of course [at] my office. They are movable, so if we had an event somewhere, you need to take it somewhere… they’re movable. It’s going to have our websites, so people can touch it, they can see what’s here — restaurants, our events calendar, literally anything.”
