Vistar, a digital out-of-home advertising technology provider, has partnered with Lamar Advertising Company to launch the Denver Transit DOOH network, with digital billboards powered by Vistar software solutions according to a press release.

With 55 active displays, the network is slated to add 130 additional ones, the partnership leverages Vistar’s supply side platform for programmatic DOOH monetization along with the Vistar CMS and ad server.

Display locations include Denver Union Station, Denver International Airport, Civic Center Station, Boulder Downtown Station and sites along Highway 36 between Denver and Boulder.

The displays at Denver Union Station come as part of a recent digital transformation project aiming to bring full motion pDOOH capacity to a transportation hub with more than 3 million visitors per year.

“Denver is thriving, with one of the fastest-growing economies in the country,” Lucy Markowitz, SVP for U.S. demand at Vistar Media, said in the release. “We are thrilled to play an integral role in the modernization of such a historic landmark that supports a growing population. The digital capabilities of this station rival some of the iconic out-of-home networks across the country and affords advertisers the opportunity to reach this important audience at a key moment in their daily journey.”
