Technology firm Move.ai and live production solutions firm Disguise have announced the launch of Invisible, their AI-powered markerless motion capture solution, according to a press release.
The solution allows live motion capture of up to two performers simultaneously using AI-based software patented by Move.ai and aiming to make mo-cap faster, easier, and much cheaper in production.
Targeted use cases include live music concerts, live broadcasts, mixed-reality and metaverse content, 3D characters and live, computer-generated VFX for a variety of production types.
Pilot tests included a demo by experimental creative studio FutureDeluxe at the Cannes Film Festival involving its Spirits 3.0 avatars during the onstage experience.
