Nassau Cruise Port has partnered with SNA Displays for its digital transformation, including outdoor LED display technology, according to a press release.
The Bahamas-based cruise hub is executing a fou- year renovation plan, and the digital transformation segment included two LED displays for the world’s second busiest cruise port (with an estimated 30,000 daily-passenger capacity).
The screens include an arrivals gate display measuring 22 feet tall and 45 feet wide and including a curve measuring nine feet in radius, along with a second display on the façade of the Educulture Junkanoo Museum; both screens were constructed with SNA Displays Empire Exterior LED technology.
“This project really highlights the versatility that large-format digital provides,” Jason Helton, EVP at SNA Displays, said in the release. “In this case, the displays not only show creative content that welcomes and wows guests as they arrive and depart the cruise terminal, but they’re also being tasked to provide additional services like wayfinding, out of home, community-focused content, and engaging visitors with wow-factor anamorphic video.”
Installation was provided by Eastern Sign Tech.
