Philips Professional Display Services, the global distributor of Philips professional displays, has announced its partnership with Userful, an AV service platform provider, in a deal aimed at the Asia Pacific region, according to a press release.
As part of the deal, select Philips digital signage and dvLED displays will be certified for the Userful Infinity Platform, an integrated full-scope AV/IT digital signage solution with users including Deloitte, NASA, Ford and Hilton.
The integration leverages Userful’s uClient application and PPDS displays using Android SoC technology and includes compatibility with features like Userful’s content delivery network solution.
“We are delighted to have partnered with Userful to bring even more value and choice to our growing range of customers here in Asia Pacific,” Julian Lim, sales director at PPDS, said in the release. “Today, there is an increasing synergy between AV products in IT environments, and the Infinity platform is an ideal solution to bring those worlds together in a simple and efficient way. Enabling our Philips professional displays with Userful’s Infinity platform provides IT departments and AV departments with a hybrid solution for their needs, whether they want to deploy on premises, in data centers or from the Cloud.
