Planar and OptiTrack have announced their launch of Planar Studios Virtual Production Workshop, which aims to educate AV and IT professionals about virtual production, according to a press release.
The program aims to educate the community on VP and XR elements, including hardware, software and technique.
“VP and XR is a fast-growing market and as global leaders with established histories of delivering state-of-the-art display and optical tracking technologies, Planar and OptiTrack are strongly positioned to lay a framework for the AV and IT communities,” Stephanie Hines, EVP at Planar and OptiTrack, said in the release. “The potential of VP and XR is widespread, transforming the way companies present content in entertainment, corporate, education and beyond. Planar and OptiTrack are dedicated to helping make this a reality for all.”
Education topics covered in the workshop are to include:
- LED displays.
- Video processing.
- Motion capture.
- Content engines.
- Video cameras.
- Studio lighting.
- Volume integration.
