Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America has announced the March debut of two System-on-a-Chip color ePaper displays, including the Sharp ePaper 13-inch Class and Sharp ePaper 25-inch Class, according to a press release.
The Advanced Color ePaper (also known as ACeP) displays are designed with an eye to sustainability and are capable of low power consumption down to zero power usage when displaying a static image.
The displays support select content management software along with USB, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth content management.
“Sharp’s new ePaper provides a sustainable and quick alternative to traditional poster boards and printed posters while fitting seamlessly into the ongoing business practices,” Keith Yanke, VP of product and solutions marketing at Sharp, said in the release. “The Sharp ePaper allows for easy integration into supported third-party CMS solutions where users can manage the distribution and display of the ePaper according to a registered schedule, prepare the screen to be displayed, monitor the display status and more. This is revolutionary for clients across industries that are seeking sustainable display methods.”
