Digital signage firm SNA Displays has unveiled a West Hollywood hybrid LED billboard in partnership with Orange Barrel Media featuring Amazon Prime content, according to a press release.
Digital signage firm SNA Displays has unveiled a West Hollywood hybrid LED billboard in partnership with Orange Barrel Media featuring Amazon Prime content, according to a press release.
Located atop local landmark the House on Sunset, the custom installation is designed for DOOH advertising content; Amazon is currently the sole tenant and is currently using the screen to promote Amazon Prime Video, with creative promoting shows like Wheel of Time.
The DOOH installation was constructed and installed by YESCO.
The hybrid screen adapts historical gantry signage with LED strips thanks to 10-mm THRUMEDIA LED strips, which are spaced 20-mm apart. The display alternates between transparent and solid video affects based on angle and time of day.
“Combining transparent LED video technology with these kinds of static signage elements gives this billboard a unique, eye-catching quality,” Pete Simon, SNA Displays’ sales director for OOH, said in the release. “Orange Barrel Media is always finding creative ways for its clients to stand out, and this digital-out-of-home platform does just that.”
