Recently-launched Ski Star Lodge Hundfjället, a ski resort hotel in the village of Sälen, Sweden, has announced the installation of 286 4K Philips Media Suite televisions, installed in partnership with integrator Nonius and global distributor Philips Professional Display Solutions, according to a press release.
The Philips Media Suite televisions include built-in Chromecast and are Netflix-ready, and support casting of streaming media from guest mobile devices across mobile operating systems, along with offering games and apps through the Google Play store.
Televisions welcome guests with personalized messages in their language of choice via a system leveraging the Nonius HUB along with the PPDS display management platform and the resort’s Effectsoft property management system, and secure Wi-Fi connection for guest phones through the television is made available via QR code.
