Texas Motor Speedway has partnered with Texas-based LED firm GoVision in the upcoming debut of its “Bigger Hoss TV” project on the weekend of Sept. 23, according to a press release.
The project, still under construction, aims to upgrade the Big Hoss TV screen at the race track, which set a Guinness World Record upon its installation nearly 10 years ago.
The “Bigger Hoss TV” will be comprised of a DigiLED Vision Ultra screen with 10% more screen size (measuring at 22,692 square feet), 22% more pixels (8,236,800 pixels), 20% higher resolution (16mm) and 16% brighter (7,000 nits calibrated brightness).
“Working again with a premier trusted organization like GoVision is not only a great pleasure but also a continuation of Texas Motor Speedway’s long-standing goal of partnering with best-in-class Texas-based companies,” Mark Faber, EVP and GM at Texas Motor Speedway, said in the release. “GoVision has been a valuable partner over the years with both our speedway and Speedway Motorsports. We certainly appreciate their efforts in installing the new-and-improved Big Hoss TV screen in time for our Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Playoffs weekend.”
