Vivid Sydney, a 23-day long festival in Sydney, Australia, that features music, light artists and thought leaders has sparked tourism, with DOOH advertising campaigns and trend measurements announced by QMS, a digital outdoor media firm, according to a press release.

QMS released data from the first three weekends of the festival and reported a 61% increase in foot traffic in Sydney between 7 p.m. and 12 midnight, with a 76% increase among the 30-50 demographic.

Interstate visitors grew by 109%, notably including those from Victoria, the ACT and Queensland.

“We were thrilled to celebrate this year’s Vivid Sydney with our clients — and with all of Sydney,” Mark Fairhurst, executive GM at QMS, said in the release. “Vivid is a celebration of creativity, innovation and technology, making it the perfect fit with our City of Sydney digital street furniture network, which sits at the very heart of the Sydney market. We have seen some outstanding contextually relevant campaigns taking full advantage of the event themes and incremental audience to maximize their impact across our network. The event is the perfect showcase for the power of this network, the 33 suburbs it covers and the highly concentrated audience it delivers.”
