Yellowstone Spinoff ‘1923’ Returns from Break – How to Watch on Roku

1923, the second prequel to the wildly popular series Yellowstone, premiered in December on the Paramount+ streaming service, but went on break after only four episodes. Fans can rejoice – 1923 is back, and can be streamed on Roku and other supported devices with the Paramount+ app.

For those who are new to the Yellowstone franchise, 1923 is the latest creation from Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan. The original Yellowstone series, now in Season 5, is a modern-day Western that follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana, as they deal with conflicts with land developers, a bordering Indian reservation, and the national park that shares the same name as the ranch. 1883, the first Yellowstone prequel, told the story of how the Dutton family arrived in Montana, traveling by wagon train with other pioneers in the years following the Civil War. 1923, starring Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton and Helen Mirren as Cara Dutton, continues the family saga with a new generation battling pandemics, drought and locusts, Prohibition, and the Great Depression. A mid-season trailer for the limited series can be streamed below.
