On August 5, “The Young and The Restless” actors participated in an in-person fan event at the Marriott Convention Center in Burbank, California.
The show just celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year, and it has been rated as the No. 1 daytime drama for well over 32 years according to the Nielsen Ratings.
Fans gathered from all over the world to be a part of this fan event in Burbank, which marked the first gathering in four years (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Several fans came all the way from Israel, France, and even Australia, to see the daytime actors in an up-close and personal setting.

Emmy-nominated actress Melissa Ordway hosted the presentation portion of the show, where each cast member was individually introduced to the audience. She expressed her gratitude to the fans that gathered at this event, as well as to fan club president Cathy Tomas and publicist Matt Kane for organizing the event and for bringing it to fruition.
The cast members that were in attendance were Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott, Peter Bergman, a pregnant Camryn Grimes, Conner Floyd, Brytni Sarpy, Tracey Bregman, Zuleyka Silver, Rory Gibson, Mark Grossman, Trevor St. John, Melissa Ordway, Michael Graziadei, Beth Maitland, Kate Linder, Lauralee Bell, Sean Dominic, Bryton James, Kelsey Wang, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Courtney Hope, Amelia Heinle, Paxton Mishkind, Jason Thompson, and Michelle Stafford.
Lauralee Bell
The soap opera was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, the parents of Lauralee Bell. “It is great to have a fan club event for The Young and the Restless again for the first time since the pandemic began and perfect timing with our 50th anniversary,” Lauralee Bell said.
“Obviously we are celebrating this milestone year, but when I heard how many countries were being represented by fans flying in for this event, I decided the lyrics ‘everyone around the world, come on’ from the iconic party song ”Celebration’ by Kool and The Gang were a perfect fit,” she elaborated.

This marked the first fan event for actors Mark Grossman and Conner Floyd, who play Adam Newman and Chance Chancellor respectively. The same holds true for actors Sean Dominic, Kelsey Wang, Zuleyka Silver, Rory Gibson, and Paxton Mishkind, among other newcomers.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to the Y&R Fan Club event. We had a blast,” Grossman exclaimed.

Sean Dominic
“It was a great time with a great cast,” Sean Dominic said. “A huge thank you to all the fans who made it out! To the fans who didn’t make it, let’s do it bigger and better next year.”
Melody Thomas Scott
In honor of the recent “Barbie” movie, leading lady Melody Thomas Scott, who portrays Nikki Newman on the show, wore pink to the Luncheon and fan festivities. The fans in audience concurred that she looked “pretty in pink,” no pun intended.

When asked by the fans which actors Beth Maitland would love to have her character, Traci, do more scenes with, she said with a sweet laugh, “Well, Traci doesn’t seem to get out of the living room.” “I think I would like to work with some of the handsome young actors,” she responded, and listed “Bryton James” as her choice.

Elizabeth Hendrickson, who just celebrated her 15th anniversary with the show, and her on-screen mother, veteran actress Kate Linder, were a part of an auction, where they offered the fans the opportunity to be a part of a studio tour, where the proceeds go towards charity. This tour would be led by Kate Linder herself, who has been on the show for over 41 years as Esther Valentine.
Prior to this presentation, the actors partook in an autograph signing with the fans, and they also posed for pictures and selfies.
