The same media that seems to think Donald Trump is Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow have spoken. They have graciously condescended to comment on the Ukraine war. Or, more accurately, babble about it. The latest non-news from Mensa for Fruit Flies is that “Ukraine fatigue” is an issue.
This just happens to be exactly the same theme as Russian propaganda and related Republican mutterings. Never mind the fact that it’s a direct confrontation with core democratic values.
Never mind the vast numbers of atrocities, the insanities, and the unbelievably obscene sleaze of Russian politics. Let’s focus on some staggeringly illiterate macro-based media which proves how wonderful we are instead.
The most fundamental military issues are basically being ignored in this sewer of wisdom. Does it make any sense at all to launch a frontal attack on a heavily defended area? No. Does it make any sense to attack without air superiority? No.
Can the Ukrainians attack wherever they want, whenever they want? Yes. The Ukrainian probing attacks are making progress. Losses are as usual pretty much all very much in Ukraine’s favor according to Oryx. The Russian military is irrevocably overloaded.

Russia is visibly falling to bits. The failed moonshot was always going to be a disaster. Most of Russia’s IT people moved out in February last year. The technical capabilities just don’t exist anymore. Russia itself is failing, period.
Strategically, Russia is at the edge of an abyss. The first fatality of this war was Russian credibility. They’ve just spent 18 months giving the world a detailed lesson on how to defeat Russia. Military exports have tanked, pun intended. The rouble just crashed.
What if they mobilize? Well, what if they do? They could mobilize the permafrost for all the difference it will make. They were scraping the bottom of the barrel with the first draft. They’ve got fossils for weapons and corrupt cretins for commanders. These guys are literally selling tickets out of the military.
I saw one of those guys, on his own, in a brand new Russian World War 2 greatcoat. Everyone else had run away. He didn’t make it. He didn’t even know where the Ukrainians were, which was behind him. A piece of cheese would have had more chance of survival.
If you’re talking “fatigue”, who’s getting tired, would you say? Anyone would think this discussion was supposed to be about facts. If those Russian troops in southern Ukraine are still there, it’s only because they haven’t deserted yet.
Escalation, you may squeak? With what? A paleo-military inventory the Smithsonian would throw out? A nuclear arsenal dating back to god knows when which is probably in the same condition. With the same geniuses doing the maintenance, too.
Russia does not have unlimited military resources. The dripping tap of trained troops from anywhere and everywhere is running dry. It’d take at least two years to train conscripts to basic modern levels. The last lot of conscripts got slaughtered.
Then you have Wagner Group showing up on the Polish border with Belarus. Another lousy move. They and the Russian military were exchanging shots a few weeks back. The Poles won’t like them as neighbors. Given a chance, they will do something about it. The Russian stab in the back in 1939 and the Cold War are unfinished business.
Do you really want to talk about “fatigue”? Let’s talk about so many so-called news outlets running Russian propaganda. About spouting political claptrap and calling it “news”.
Either shut up or find out what you’re talking about.
