SPACE STATION EXPERIMENT SAMPLES
The first batch of in-orbit experiment samples from China’s space station was delivered to research institutions, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
At the delivery ceremony, the in-orbit scientific experiment samples from the container-free material science laboratory cabinet in China’s space station were delivered to the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other research institutions.
5G PHONE SHIPMENTS
Shipments of 5G phones in China surged 70.4 percent year on year to around 183 million units in the first nine months of this year, data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) showed.
The volume accounted for 73.8 percent of the country’s total mobile phone shipments during the period, said the CAICT, a research institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
China successfully launched a new satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province Sunday.
The satellite, Shijian-21, was launched at 9:27 a.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-3B carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit successfully.
